Verhalten- west coast us tour, new video and 12″ vinyl release of “Forgiveness”

On March 31 Verhalten returns with “Forgiveness” a collection of noise laced industrial tracks based around rhythm and slow melody. Well, underneath the membrane of static and feedback that is.  This is the 12″ vinyl edition of the cassette ep released in early 2017 that is already out of print.

The release is accompanied by a short tour of the west coast from March 31-April 09 and the release of a video for the track “Pictures Drawn In Water”.  A minimalist short film of natural white noise photographed while on tour in the Czech Republic, Germany and Iceland in February of 2017.

Verhalten “forgiveness” pre-order

that’s right, ANOTHER new Verhalten tape.  Interesting thing about it, this one will also exist on 12″ vinyl come April 2017.  There are a limited number of tapes that will be available on the impending european tour and the vinyl will be here once more dates are announced in the US.  Here’s a little insight as to how it differs from “oxter”.

Harsh noise walls give way to an almost ambient conclusion.  This is the first in what will be a series of Verhalten noise releases which will have the signifying code VHNW somewhere on the artwork.  If you are wondering about the more beat driven work, don’t fret, there is more of that coming too, very soon.  Until then, enjoy the crumble and clang of Oxter.  VHNW000-005.

another debut. this time a new project from Unur’s patrick scott.  While Unur focuses more on stories of broken selves and melodic coldwave, Verhalten finds its noir-ish minimalism in radio static and rhythm.  Industrial, noise and muted dark techno all make their presence known.  This project has been brewing in various forms for a few years, this is its debut.  silkscreened black cardstock jackets limited edition of 50.
