Verhalten “oxter”available now.

mt021-vh_oxter-tapeFurther evolution into the deeper realms of noise, Verhalten returns with a claustrophobic din of modular cacophony. Harsh noise walls give way to an almost ambient conclusion.  This is the first in what will be a series of Verhalten noise releases which will have the signifying code VHNW somewhere on the artwork.  If you are wondering about the more beat driven work, don’t fret, there is more of that coming too, very soon.  Until then, enjoy the crumble and clang of Oxter.  VHNW000-005.

another debut. this time a new project from Unur’s patrick scott.  While Unur focuses more on stories of broken selves and melodic coldwave, Verhalten finds its noir-ish minimalism in radio static and rhythm.  Industrial, noise and muted dark techno all make their presence known.  This project has been brewing in various forms for a few years, this is its debut.  silkscreened black cardstock jackets limited edition of 50.

Froe Char / Cellule 34 / Unur Midwest & East Coast US tour April-May 2015

Froe Char is crossing the atlantic (for the first time!) and bringing the awesome Cellule 34 from brussels with her.  They will be teaming up with Unur to play a mess of dates in the midwest and on the east coast including a pair of experimental sets alongside a video installation as part of CIMM Fest in chicago!  If you want them to come perform in your DIY space, Bar, Taco Shack, Gastropube, Basement, 0r Public Restroom send an email to mdrntps ((at)) gmail ((dot)) com.

so, many of you have noticed that the new Froe Char Lp and Unur cassette are released but not available for mailorder from MT.  Yeah.  Sorry about that.  You see, MT is a one person operation and i am rather far away from my tapes and records currently.  HERE IS THE SOLUTION!!!

Both the Unur and Froe Char releases are also available in the US from Heaven Street Records in Brooklyn, Laurie’s Planet Of Sound in chicago and End Of An Ear in Austin, Tx.  Their websites aren’t the easiest to mailorder from but an email or phone call will get you taken care of.  they are all lovely people.  tell them i say “hi!”

in Europe you can find our stuff at WOOL-E-SHOP in Gent, Belgium and the amazing TRANSFORMER in Vienna, Austria.
